Blessing of the Animals |
| Each fall, Heathwood Hall celebrates St. Francis Day with the traditional "Blessing of the Animals." The custom is conducted across the world in remembrance of St. Francis of Assisi's love for all creatures. St. Francis is the patron saint of animals and ecology. Thanks to the help of local Episcopal clergy these students may rest easier knowing that their beloved pets have been blessed for another year. |
