| The Class
of 2005 took sides on April 18th, dividing into three separate, but well-connected
college teams. Heathwood’s second annual "Freshman Focus Field
Day" pitted teams representing Wofford, Converse, and U. Georgia
against each other for a fun day of learning and competition. The freshman
class spent the day competing in kick ball, relay races, orienteering,
tug-of-war, canoe racing and climbing the school’s 50-foot Alpine
Tower ropes course. Best of all, the students gained valuable knowledge
about three popular college choices as these young people inch closer
to graduation. The wonderful Class of 2005 worked and played hard all
day, showing everyone the kind of spirit that makes them a very special
group! |
