3rd Grade
Celebrates
South Carolina Day

| The culmination of the third grade's year-long study of South Carolina is the annual "South Carolina Day" celebration. This year, third graders spent the day making crafts, creating revolutionary war uniforms and fashioning iron work letters. Students sang, danced and ate foods -- all of them unique to South Carolina. The children even had a special guest, Heathwood grandfather Julian Walker, who read some famous S.C. ghost stories. What a great way to complete a fascinating study of their home state! |
