20th Annual Auction 2004
| The Heathwood Hall family celebrated a milestone -- the 20th Annual Auction -- in grand style March 18 and 19 in Columbia. For the first time ever, the School's most important annual fundraising event was divided into two nights: one for families and the other for adults. Students and their parents came out in number the first night, enjoying great food, fun and competitive bidding on a fabulous collection of merchandise, vacation homes and trips, services and the always popular class projects. Local celebrity Mr. Knozit presided over the auction and a magician entertained young and old alike. The second night, a more formal affair and dinner featured another round of bidding in a live auction -- this time with WIS News weatherman Joe Pinner as emcee. Both evenings helped to raise much needed funds to support Heathwood Hall's programs. Kudos to auction co-chairs Page Morris and Mary Covington who, supported by a dedicated group of volunteers, created the new format and made it a success! |
