Reptiles Visit 2nd Grade

| On March 4, the second grade welcomed Jack Hancock from the SC Department of Natural Resources and a few of his cold-blooded friends. Special guests included an alligator, two turtles and two snakes. The students were excited to see these animals up close and a few youngsters even got to wrap snakes hang around their necks! The children also learned new things about birds and their habitats. The visit made for quite an exciting adventure for all involved and the hope is that Mr. Hancock and his pals will be back again next year. |
