Annual Auction 2005
| The Heathwood Hall family celebrated the 21th Annual Auction in grand style March 17 and 18 in Columbia. The School's most important annual fundraising event was divided into two nights: one for families and the other for adults. Students and their parents came out in number the first night, enjoying great food, fun and competitive bidding on a fabulous collection of merchandise, vacation homes and trips, services and the always popular class projects. Local celebrity Mr. Verbrick presided over the auction and a magician entertained young and old alike. The second night, a more formal affair and dinner featured another round of bidding in a live auction -- this time with Mr. Dick Willis as emcee. Both evenings helped to raise much needed funds to support Heathwood Hall's programs. Kudos to auction co-chairs Mary Keisler, Melinda Stiefel and Carrrie Lunceford who, supported by a dedicated group of volunteers, created the new format and made it a success! |
