On February 18, 2009, Heathwood Hall Episcopal School installed its new Head of School, Charles H. “Chuck” Jones III, in a special ceremony held on campus. The Right Reverend Dorsey F. Henderson, Jr., Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Upper South Carolina, presided over the event.

“A Celebration of New Ministry and the Installation of Charles H. Jones III as Head of School” was held in The Lower Gymnasium and attended by all Heathwood Hall students, faculty and staff. Members of the school’s Board of Trustees, parents and alumni were also in attendance.

The Reverend J. Blaney Pridgen III gave the homily. The Reverend Susan Blackburn Heath served as Master of Ceremonies. Raven Graydon Tarpley, Heathwood Hall’s Chaplain, created and organized the event.
