Class of 2009’s Service Trip to John’s Island, S.C. |
||
In what has become a long-standing tradition, the Heathwood Hall class of 2009 completed their high school career by spending four days working with the Rural Mission, Inc. to repair the homes of residents on John’s and Wadmalaw Islands. The students, along with faculty, staff, and alumni served at five worksites to improve the living conditions of needy families. The service trip provides students with the opportunity to realize the value in giving back to the community while also spending some quality time with classmates and faculty members before graduation.
