Seven Heathwood Seniors Earn National Merit Recognition

The nationwide pool of Semifinalists for National Merit represents less than one percent of U.S. high school seniors, and includes the highest-scoring students in each state. In total, seven Heathwood Hall seniors were recognized for their outstanding achievement.

Four Heathwood Hall seniors are among the 186 students in South Carolina who recently were named National Merit Semifinalists: Jannie Adams, Connor Hoffman, Rob Smith, and Sarah Jackson Smith.

Three other Heathwood seniors, Daniel Barbeau, Lauren Pansegrau, and Andrew Wood, have been named Commended Students by the National Merit Scholarship Program.

Heathwood Hall would like to congratulate each of the participants and commend them for their hard work and tireless dedication.
