Heathwood Hall Continues Battle of the Bells Streak

The results of the 2011 Salvation Army Battle of the Bells are in and Heathwood Hall has finished as one of the top two schools for the eighth time in nine years of the High School Battle of the Bells effort!

In total, local area high schools collected over $6700 during this year's Red Kettle Campaign. This effort and sacrifice of time will help provide hope to families living in poverty in the Midlands community.

A special thank you to Sondra Wieland, Marsie Pulford, John Pulford, Divya Amin, Gigi Dawson, Anne Weston, Brooke Whiteman, and Elise Hagstette who partnered with the Student Council and National Honor Society to represent Heathwood in the annual event! The support of Heathwood’s faculty and staff has been noted and is greatly appreciated by the Salvation Army.

The top three schools for the 2011 campaign:

1. Dutch Fork Air Force JROTC

2. Heathwood Hall NHS/Student Council

3. AC Flora JROTC

Many thanks to all of the students, faculty, and staff who have supported this effort over the years!
