| In December, community service and art connected as Lower School Art Club students in grades two through four created bowls for Harvest Hope Food Bank's fourth annual "Empty Bowls" event. The students donated over 40 bowls, some clay and some paper mache, for the February 2006 fundraiser. Guests who attend the hunger awareness event will receive one of the Heathwood students' handcrafted bowls as a symbol of all the empty bowls in their community. |
