Heathwood Yearbook Wins Best All Around for 3rd Time in Five Years
The South Carolina Independent Schools Association has named the 2019-2020 Heathwood Yearbook Best All Around in its annual Student Publication Awards. It is the 3rd time in the past five years that the Heathwood yearbook staff has earned that honor.
Yearbook Co-Editors Grayson Miller and James Lucas, Copy Editor Addie-Grace Cook, and Faculty Advisor Cindy Scannella worked with a talented staff to build the yearbook around the theme "Blaze," because, as they explain in the letter accompanying the book, "Every day at Heathwood, students and faculty are blazing new trails .... The purpose of our theme is to share these people's stories and to inspire others to get out there and blaze their own trail."
In addition to the Best All Around honor, the 2019-2020 yearbook earned Honorable Mention for Photography, Layout/Design, Copywriting, and Theme Development.
The full fall and spring semester yearbook staffs are pictured below. Congrats to all on SCISA's recognition of your great work!
