Heathwood Parents Association

The mission of the Heathwood Parent Association (HPA) is to promote parent involvement in the life of the school and support the faculty and staff in educating our students. We also welcome and build relationships with current and new families and are ambassadors in sharing the news of the happenings at Heathwood Hall. We are proud to support the school in the following ways:

  • Building community through social events, student and parent parties, and welcome activities for new families
  • Encouraging everyone to find a fun way to volunteer
  • Strengthening school spirit through the Highlander Athletic Booster Club
  • Providing parent education through division-specific roundtable events
  • Offering a Uniform Resale twice a year that supports the HPA budget to fund all activities and the mission of the HPA

The variety of opportunities makes it possible for parents with different schedules, interests, and talents to participate in the life of the school. Whether a one-time or ongoing commitment, every contribution is needed and valued. Heathwood Hall encourages parent involvement and it is fundamental to Heathwood Hall’s mission.

Each division is led by two parent volunteers who serve as Chair and Co-Chair to assist the Parent Engagement Coordinator with division-specific and all school events, volunteer coordination, communication to ECLS homeroom parents, Middle and Upper School parent grade level representatives, and teacher appreciation. In addition, each grade level has one parent of a female student and one parent of a male student who serve as ambassadors to new families, helping them to navigate their first year at Heathwood.

Heathwood Hall greatly benefits from the time, love, and support of our parents. We are so glad you are a part of our community.
