Heathwood Parents Association
The mission of the Heathwood Parent Association (HPA) is to promote parent involvement in the life of the school and support the faculty and staff in educating our students. We also welcome and build relationships with current and new families and are ambassadors in sharing the news of the happenings at Heathwood Hall. We are proud to support the school in the following ways:
- Building community through social events, student and parent parties, and welcome activities for new families
- Encouraging everyone to find a fun way to volunteer
- Strengthening school spirit through Highlander Athletic Booster Club
- Providing parent education through division-specific roundtable events
- Offering a Uniform Resale twice a year that supports the HPA budget to fund all activities and the mission of the HPA
The variety of opportunities makes it possible for parents with different schedules, interests, and talents to participate in the life of the school. Whether a one-time or ongoing commitment, every contribution is needed and valued. Heathwood Hall encourages parent involvement and it is fundamental to Heathwood Hall’s mission.
Each division is led by two parent volunteers that serve as Chair and Co-Chair to assist the Parent Engagement Coordinator with division-specific and all school events, volunteer coordination, communication to ECLS homeroom parents, Middle and Upper School parent grade level representatives, and teacher appreciation. In addition, each grade level has one parent of a female student and one parent of a male student that serve as ambassadors to new families, helping them to navigate their first year at Heathwood.
Heathwood Hall greatly benefits from the time, love, and support from our parents. We are so glad you are a part of our community.

Highlander Athletics Booster Club
Mission Statement
The mission of the Highlander Club is to promote and further the overall objectives of Heathwood Hall Episcopal School by means of fundraising activities to meet special needs of the extracurricular activities of the school; to stimulate and encourage participation in extra-curricular activities; and to conduct promotion activities in furtherance of these objectives.
Making a Difference
The Highlander Athletics Booster Club (HABC) is the athletic booster for Heathwood Hall. It organizes spirit events for all school divisions.
HABC members stay busy throughout the year volunteering their time and expertise to support our athletes through a variety of community-building, spirit and fundraising activities. Our members along with athletic team parents sell concessions at sporting events and tournaments. Additionally, advertisement opportunities are offered on our sports program, our athletics website, the digital video board, and mobile concessions unit. The HABC proudly produces The Highlander, the fall and winter sports program for athletics. At the beginning of the school year the Club host an annual social, honoring its members and the athletic coaches. Each Winter the Club hosts The Wild Game Dinner. Membership in HABC is open to all parents, grandparents, students, alumni, and friends.
The booster club assists the school in purchasing athletic equipment and facility enhancements that benefits every Heathwood student. Initiatives are paid through an allocation process administered by the Highlander Club Board. During the last five years over $500,000 has been allocated to funding initiatives to better serve our students.
