A strong foundation for learning starts with student wellness. At Heathwood Hall, our on-campus Health Office—staffed by two full-time, licensed nurses—ensures that students have access to immediate, professional care throughout the school day.
Whether managing chronic conditions, responding to injuries or illness, or offering preventative support, our nurses are essential members of the student care team. Their presence promotes a safe and healthy environment, provides peace of mind for families, and supports uninterrupted learning by helping students return to the classroom as quickly and safely as possible.
Allergies & Special Needs in The Dining Commons
- Please notify our Health Office (health@heathwood.org) and Flik’s chef/manager if your child has a food allergy or dietary restriction.
- An allergy board is posted daily to help students and teachers identify common allergens.
- Flik’s corporate nutrition specialist is available to consult on food allergies, sensitivities, disordered eating habits, or dietary concerns.
- If you have concerns about your child’s eating habits—whether too little, too much, or making unhealthy choices—please reach out to their teachers or division head. We’ll work together to ensure they are aware of their choices and comfortable finding healthy, enjoyable meals.
