Heathwood Hall Celebrates Frances Laughlin ’26 and Her Commitment to Wofford College
On November 12, 2025, Highlander Nation gathered to celebrate a major milestone in the athletic and academic journey of Frances Laughlin ’26, who officially signed her Letter of Intent to continue her education and softball career at Wofford College.
Frances has been a standout presence in the Heathwood softball program, known not only for her power and precision on the field but also for the leadership she brings to the team culture.
“I’ve had the pleasure of coaching Frances over the last two years,” said Perri Peraza, Head Girls Softball Coach. “Not only is she a force to be reckoned with on the field, but she is also a strong leader. She has taken many of our young players under her wing. Frances, Heathwood softball is excited to watch you continue your sports career at Wofford over the next four years.”
Frances’s commitment reflects her dedication, her growth as an athlete, and the support of the Heathwood Hall community that has cheered her on every step of the way. Congratulations, Frances—we can’t wait to watch your next chapter unfold in Terrier country!
