With almost 700 students on campus spanning the ages of 2 to18, there's always something going on. And there's always a way to get involved. While we couldn't go without our parent volunteers, we would love to have Heathwood alumni leading the pack.
Columbia Connections: This is a new program aimed to give our students real-life learning experiences. This includes professional experts speaking to classes here, or students going out into the community, participating in tours, learning new skills, or holding short-term internships. Click here for more information or contact Donnie Bain (firstname.lastname@example.org) with questions.
Business Connections: If you own or are part of a business that serves the Greater-Columbia area, you can be a part of our Business Directory, made available to all Heathwood families and other business connections. You can enter your information here.
Alumni Council: The Council work with the Alumni Relations Coordinator to reach out to their fellow classmates, meets quarterly to plan projects/events, and advises. They may invite them to events, get life updates, solicit their Annual Fund support, or start planning reunions. If this sounds like you, email email@example.com to inquire.
Host Families: Our growing international student population requires more Heathwood families to open up their homes. Most of our international students are from China, hoping for a better education and an increased chance of college acceptance in the US. Contact Allison Edwards at 803-231-7718 or firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Volunteers: Work alongside our parent volunteers in a variety of ways, helping the Highlander Club, or serving on a committee. Julie Benoit (email@example.com) can give you more details about all of the opportunities around campus.
