The goal of the NOLS Wilderness Medicine is to provide the highest quality education and information for the recognition, treatment, and prevention of wilderness emergencies.

TUITION: $245.
MEALS: Lunch and dinner options are available at a variety of restaurants off campus but nearby.
LODGING: Camping on the Heathwood Hall campus is available and free. Please let the course sponsor know your camping preference when you are registering.

NOLS Wilderness Medicine has a two-year certifcation and is recognized by the American Camping Association, US Forest Service, and various Guide Licensing Boards as meeting their first aid requirement. Those with prior NOLS Wilderness First Responder (WFR) certification may use this WFA course to re-certify WFR training.
