WWI Christmas Truce Recreation
The WWI Christmas Truce Recreation will be held on Saturday, Dec. 3rd between 5:30 and 8:30 p.m. Upper School Students and faculty will reenact the Christmas Truce of 1914 when German and British troops laid down their arms and met between their trenches in a spontaneous truce on Christmas Day that lasted about 24 hours. Families and friends are welcome and encouraged to come. Tours are free and start at the shot put pad near the track in an area marked with a fire pit and lanterns.
