Five Heathwood Seniors Named National Merit Finalists

Heathwood seniors Henry Haywood, Alexander Roberts, Jimmy Ruskell, Ryan Shelley, and Savannah Smith have all been named 2021-2022 National Merit Finalists.

Of the approximately 1.5 million high school seniors who took the PSAT last year, they were among the 16,000 highest scorers nationwide, earning them National Merit Semifinalist awards. Because of their academic achievements, they have now been named finalists and are eligible for National Merit Scholarships, which will be awarded later in the year.
