Football Standout Porter Signs with Lenoir-Rhyne
Heathwood Senior Rondarius Porter has signed a National Letter of Intent to play football at Lenoir-Rhyne University.
In his five years as a varsity football player at Heathwood, Porter earned consecutive Region Defensive Player of the Year Awards and was named State Co-Defensive Player of the Year. He was also selected to play in the All-State, SCISA North-South, and I-20 Classic All-Star games. He was also a starter on the varsity basketball team and a member of the 2021 state champion track team.
