Honoring Excellence: 39 New Members Inducted into Heathwood’s National Junior Honor Society

Congratulations to the newest members of Heathwood's chapter of the National Junior Honor Society!
39 seventh and eighth-grade students were inducted this winter in the newly renovated Rainey Belser Auditorium. After opening remarks from Head of School Chris Hinchey and Middle School Head Glenn Delaney, our NJHS candidates heard from NHS member Matthew Black '25, who spoke about the importance of perseverance and humility in the pursuit of excellence. To be eligible for NJHS, students must earn honors with distinction for three consecutive semesters, beginning in sixth grade.
